“Be anxious for nothing, but in everything by prayer and supplication, with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God.”(Philippians 4:6 – NKJV)
Prayer is a core value of LWOBC. Jesus told his disciples in Luke 18:1, “…Men always ought to pray and not lose heart.” Therefore, prayer is integrated in every area of ministry and the worship services.
Prayer is simply communication with God. Included in prayer are words of praise, thanks, worship as well as our requests. Prayer is going into God’s presence to be with Him. It is drawing upon divine resources to influence our human reality. Prayer is the master key to everything we have been called to do. John Wesley says, “God does nothing, but in answer to prayer…”
